2006 Sibshops

A program just for brothers and sisters of kids with special needs!

Young Sibshop is an event designed especially for brothers and sisters, ages 4-7 or ages 8-13, of children with specialhealth and developmental needs. Sibshops celebrate the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs while providing opportunities for peer support. Sibshops acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a person with special needs is sometimes a good thing, sometimes a not-so-good thing, and sometims somewhere in between. Parents are encouranged to eat lunch with their child and participate in afternoon activities.
