Midwest Genetics Network Regional Meeting (Oct 16 &17) Lansing, MI

The Midwest Genetics Network (MGN), previously named the Region 4 Midwest Genetics Collaborative, will be holding our Regional Meeting on October 16th and 17th in Lansing, Michigan at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development.

 

The objectives of the 2017 meeting are to:

  • Provide an opportunity for face to face interaction among partners
  • Provide members with information regarding MGN’s future direction
  • Establish workgroups and begin work on our new projects

o   Health Equity

o   Telegenetics

o   Provider Education

o   Long Term Follow-up

  • Promote interstate collaboration

Accommodations:

To minimize transportation costs, we encourage carpooling.  We will reimburse mileage for up to 6 vehicles from your state.  Those of you traveling from Kentucky and Minnesota via airplane will reimbursed for economy flights. If you require assistance in arranging travel, please contact us immediately.

 

Lodging will be arranged and paid for by MGN. If you are a national partner, your room will be reserved for you with the expectation of payment upon check in.

 

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch will be provided on both days in addition to hors d’oeurves at the Welcome Reception on the evening of the 16th.  Participants will be reimbursed individually for meals not provided during the meeting.
