INGC committees play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission and supporting its members. Each committee focuses on a specific initiative that contributes to the growth, advocacy, and community of genetic counselors across Indiana.

Committee initiatives include planning the annual INGC conference to support access to high‑quality continuing education (conference planning committee), monitoring state and national legislation that may impact genetic counseling practice (legislative committee), organizing social events to foster networking and connection among members (social committee), and identifying and coordinating opportunities for community outreach and engagement (outreach committee).
